Last Friday (Feb 16th), we held a private party at The Store Studios in celebration of our sponsorship of London Fashion Week.
The Evening Standard has sponsored LFW over 27 seasons and 13 years. We started our 27th season in style with a private party on the first day of fashion week in the VIP Lounge of the Store Studios, the LFW hub. Over 170 of our key clients and agencies enjoyed a jam-packed event focusing on our fashion and beauty credentials.
Laura Weir kicked off the party with an introduction to the importance of London in the world of fashion and our long-standing relationship with LFW. Followed by an insightful style Q&A with Maurice Mullen and Jenny Kennedy, finishing with a make-up colour trends talk by Lyne Desnoyers, the Executive Director of Makeup Artistry at MAC.
Guests enjoyed canapés, fizz, a packed goody bag and access to the Designer Showrooms (exhibitions of the designer’s collections from LFW Feb 18).
Over the 5 days, ES Magazine was the only publication available inside the official LFW venue with 3000 copies of the Fashion Edition distributed inside the venue and at some of the main shows.
